REPORT A CLAIM

Submitting an insurance claim should be easy! We’ve spent years streamlining our claims submission process so it’s now simpler and faster than ever before.

In order to make your claim go as smoothly as possible, there are a few important things you must keep in mind when you’re involved in an accident.

Access to Report a Claim

  • Get Driver Info: If you’re involved in an accident with another driver, you must get their information at the scene of the accident. That includes their full name, address, phone number, and license plate number. You should also ask the other driver to provide the name of their insurance company, the company phone number, and their policy number. You can also take a photo of the other driver’s insurance card. In the event another driver refuses to provide you with this info, you should call the police if you have not already.

This is the other side of what we just mentioned above. Just like you need the other driver’s info, they need yours. You should provide them with everything mentioned in the previous bullet.

If there are witnesses to your accident, it can help your case if you get their information. At a minimum, you should try to get witness names, addresses, and phone numbers and give this to us when submitting your claim. This will help us determine who was really at fault in your accident.

It’s always a good idea to get the police on the scene of an accident because this can protect you from undue liability. Police reports are reliable sources of info for insurance companies. This is crucial if someone was injured in the accident, or if the other driver fled the scene.

Keep track of the time, date, and exact location that the accident took place. You should make note of the weather and road conditions at the time. It also helps to take photos of all aspects of the accident and submit them to us with your claim.

The sooner you notify us of an accident, the sooner we’re able to help you.

You can usually get a police report from an accident a few days after the accident occurred. Submit this to us along with your claim.

If you were injured in an accident, it’s in your best interest to report all the details to us as soon as possible. You should submit any medical reports or bills along with your claim.
